CTHULHU

CTHULHU
"'Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn."'
"'In his house at R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."'

"They included not only a repetition of what he had formerly dreamed, but touched wildly on a gigantic thing “miles high” which walked or lumbered about."

"It seemed to be a sort of monster, or symbol representing a monster, of a form which only a diseased fancy could conceive. If I say that my somewhat extravagant imagination yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature, I shall not be unfaithful to the spirit of the thing. A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings;"
H.P. Lovecraft, The Call Of Cthulhu

  4. I love that your Cthulhu doesn't just look like every other Cthulhu, green, and muscular. I have always liked the fat, Buddha Cthulhu portrayals better, and I love your coloring on yours. I want a statue of Great Cthulhu that looks like this!
