UNHEARD OF REPTILE

UNHEARD OF REPTILE
"27-Life and Deat; Death—its desolation and horror—bleak spaces—sea-bottom—dead cities. But Life—the greater horror! Vast unheard-of reptiles and leviathans—hideous beasts of prehistoric jungle—rank slimy vegetation—evil instincts of primal man—Life is more horrible than death."
H.P. Lovecraft, Commonplace Book

  1. I like the naturalistic portrayal of fictive species and use of color on this one. As well as ancient primodial beast this lizard could be some small ugly newt bathing in hot sun of desert locale where you quietly sip some acrid local brew or large komado dragon style relic that challenges mans dominion over natural world by making prey of him.
