NON-TERRESTRIAL BEING

H.P. Lovecraft, Commonplace BookWhile this entry in HPL's Commonplace Book seems to be a reference to The Shadow Out Of Time, it's not explicit. Therefore, I took the opportunity to really go wild with a "non-human" design. The rugous cone-shaped body is a nod to the yithians of Shadow but I really went in a different direction with the rest of the body.
In this redrawing I tightened the lifework, color & rendering and I reduced the number of eyes to one huge eye on two of the head outcroppings. I also made the limbs look more like functional appendages with "fingers".
