WHITE POLYPOUS THING

This one was tough. I've already redrawn it once but there was still some slight cleaning up I wanted to do. I know that seems ridiculous when it means redrawing, inking, coloring and rendering an entire creature but, hey, this is what my brain does.
Obviously there's a much bigger difference between the first and second drawing than there is between the second and third. It was a complete overhaul, which I was mostly happy with. However, I do dislike that the base color was pure white and I couldn't really render how I prefer. I fixed that and streamlined the line work. I'm much happier with the third and final version.
There aren't many depictions of the white polypous thing. I guess because there's so much else going on in The Call Of Cthulhu?! What illustrations do exist seem to conflate it with the flying polyps.
Anyway, tomorrow's drawing is a gaseous entity from space!
