“The creature sat on its haunches, its legs bent wrong at the knees, like a horse's back legs. On its flat face were three lidless eyes arranged vertically over a snarling mouth brimming with dagger-sharp teeth.”
I really enjoyed trying to figure out how this one would be put together. The three vertical eyes were really interesting because that's not something we see in nature too often. Nature usually produces symmetry. It's why I also find it difficult to draw things with one huge eye. That doesn't come up in the natural world. I was pretty happy with my solution though and I'm happy with the color scheme I came up with too.
